Welcome to the WWW where I post a summary of the past week’s goals and milestones. Every week features the same format including net calories, weekly weigh-in, and how I fared meeting current fitness goals such as using a food diary.

After a hard drive crash and repair, I’ve now migrated some files over to Google Docs and have tried to recreate my tracker as best I could. For the most part, i’ve felt like I’m making good progress, but then get derailed by work chaos that tends to ramp up every few months. At the front of everything now is to get into a patten before work gets crazy again and start to make a real dent in things. Woo hoo!! Looking forward to the WWW reporting again!! Nice to have some other motivators out there…so here we go.

Calories In < Calories Out

Slightly to the negative this week coming in at a 648 calorie deficit, which I thought was impressive since nearly ALL of the week was traveling with either the family on vacation or on the road for work. In other words, lots of carryout and sporadic munching opportunities. Some key workouts with the hubby on the hills of DC were critical to keeping things in check! This week I logged nearly 800cal of exercise. Little short of my 1000cal per week goal, but what the hell…I was on vacation. It will be important to keep that momentum going…

On track or off the wagon…

ON TRACK – Good showing this week even in the midst of tough choices and limited time. Making the most of flexible time and combining activities like walking the kids to pick up groceries, really helped. Heel recovery still in progress so running will be lighter than usual. Planning on making use of the weights more and trying to switch over to my much neglected core training. I’ll have more travel coming up, so again have to be on the lookout for calorie traps and sticking to the workout.

Until next week….make it a great one!!
