Welcome to the WWW where I post a summary of the past week’s goals and milestones. Every week features the same format including net calories, weekly weigh-in, and how I fared meeting current fitness goals such as using a food diary.

Calories In < Calories Out

Tracking my meals on a food diary app called LoseIt remains really helpful to stay conscientious about eating habits (LoseIt review here). Two weeks ago my phone was stolen and I began to appreciate more how easy the app makes food tracking. Phone back in hand, I jumped at the chance to log!

For the week prior, I was -708 calories under my budget. Good job! This figure is easily calculated from my LoseIt app. Remember: losing a pound requires ~3500 calorie deficit. I’ve already trimmed down my daily caloric intake by about 500 calories. So, my daily calorie intake is budgeted at 1775 calories. thanks in part to exercising (486 calories gone), I was below my weekly budget by 708 calories. Right now I’m (unofficially) trying to burn 1000 calories per week. Falling short so far but something to keep shooting for!

Weekly weigh-in…

Although I had a calorie deficit this week, I hit a snag here holding constant with 0% change in weight. Overall, little bummed but it always takes longer than you’d like.

On track or off the wagon…

ON TRACK – The past week was a good one. Lots going on at work but still managed to fit in some workouts and eat decently.

Until next week….make it a great one!
