Fitness Goals in 2011

Especially in weight loss and fitness, but for life too, it’s important to be able to specify clear goals so you know what benchmark you are aiming for and when you reach it. This page tracks my attempts and current fitness goals. (Updated as needed!)

Current Goals for 2011:

  1. Start taking a daily multivitamin
  2. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day
  3. Limit to only 2 cans of soda
  4. Increase activity to 1000 calories burned per week
  5. Eat at least 4 fruits/veggies
  6. Use a food diary to keep track of meals, eating patterns

Goals I’m thinking of adding – short term:

  1. Log 30-40 miles per month running by March 2011
  2. Lose 10 pounds during the first three months of 2011

Previous Goals for 2011:

  1. Complete three different races by June 2011
    1. Rock N’ Roll Half Marathon – Phoenix (January 2011)
    2. Firecracker Four (July 2011)
  2. Work out 3 x during the week
