Saw this post over on Yahoo! Shine about apps/web sites that can be used to help you reach fitness/weight loss goals and it is actually pretty interesting. While some of the tools don’t really seem to be anything that I would use, there were a couple that caught my eye. In particular, the EatingWell Diet Challenge. Offers a community-based resource to adhere to the EatingWell diet. Not too familiar with that, but may look more into it. The suggestions on portion size and goals are pretty consistent with what I’ve been trying to do in my own weight loss efforts. Aiming for a calorie burn of ~1000 calories/week is a great target and something I’ve not really considered before. I’ll have to look back at my LoseIt reports to see where I’m at. I think I sense another fitness goal coming on!
